British writer and editor
Mary Harrington is a British journalist.[ 1] [ 2] [ 3] [ 4] [ 5] She coined the term Reactionary feminism [ 6] [ 7] and explored it in her 2023 book Feminism Against Progress .[ 8]
As a child, Harrington attended a Steiner Waldorf school.[ 9] She studied English literature at the University of Oxford .[ 9]
A book release event at the Georgia Room in New York City was cancelled after the venue received negative comments about Harrington on social media.[ 10]
