Marcus Herbert (born 13 August 2002) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Pre-AFL career

Herbert played local football for South Warrnambool in the Hampden Football Netball League.[1] He played in the Talent League for the GWV Rebels.[2]

In 2021, Herbert joined Geelong in the VFL.[3] In 2025, he became vice-captain of the side[4] and won their best and fairest award.[5] In 2026 he was named as part of the VFL State Team squad.[6]

AFL career

Herbert was selected by the West Coast Eagles with pick 13 of the 2026 mid-season rookie draft.[7] He made his debut in round 14 of the 2026 AFL season.[8]
