The MG Go! is a battery-electric concept car introduced by MG Motor at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2026.[1][2] Designed by MG's Advanced Design Centre in London, it serves as a preview of a forthcoming B-segment electric hatchback scheduled to enter production in 2027.[3] The concept was unveiled alongside the larger MG Cyber Concept SUV.[3]
Overview
According to MG, its design references historic MG models, such as the MGB GT, while adopting a contemporary design approach rather than directly replicating earlier styling. The concept combines upright proportions with simple body surfacing, LED lighting, and aerodynamic design elements.
The vehicle was designed under the direction of Carl Gotham at MG's Advanced Design Centre in London.
Design
The MG Go! features a hatchback body with a box-shaped profile, short overhangs, pronounced wheel arches, and slim LED lighting elements. The exterior incorporates design cues derived from earlier MG models alongside contemporary styling features, reflecting the design direction for a potential future production vehicle.
