Darts player
Lex Paeshuyse (born 6 September 2011) is a Belgian youth darts player who currently plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Winner of the World Masters for boys.[2][3]
Career
Paeshuyse made a strong entrance into youth tournaments in 2022, quickly finding success by winning multiple titles and defeating top-ranked players in various open competitions. In 2023, he reached the final of the youth event at the Belgium Open and represented his country in the Four Nations Cup, where he captured the boys' singles title.[4]
This talented young player is now focused on earning a spot in both the JDC World Cup of Darts and the JDC World Darts Championship later this year. He has already secured his debut at the 2024 World Masters. In the youth tournament, Paeshuyse breezed through the group stage, and in the knock-out rounds, he twice recorded an average of over 90 points. In the semi-finals, he comfortably beat Matyáš Rejhon,[5] and in the final, he dominated Mason Teese to win the boys' tournament, a remarkable achievement at his age.[6] On the same day, he also qualified for the 2024 WDF World Darts Championship in the boys' category.[7]
