Kam Hing Wai was a walled village with a moat surrounding the village; however, the moat was filled and the walls no longer stand. Only 3 to 4 village houses remain in the original traditional architectural style built with grey bricks. Others are replaced by 2 to 3 storey modern buildings. A temple is located at the northeast corner of the village. An Earth God shrine is located at the southeast of the village.[3]
