American wheelchair basketball player
Jacob Michael Williams (born August 2, 1991) is an American wheelchair basketball player and a member of the United States men's national wheelchair basketball team .[ 1]
Career
Williams represented the United States in wheelchair basketball at the Summer Paralympics three times, winning gold medals in 2016 , 2020 and 2024 .[ 2] As a result, Team USA became the first men's wheelchair basketball team ever to win three consecutive gold medals at the Paralympics.[ 3]
He represented the United States 2022 Wheelchair Basketball World Championships and won a gold medal.[ 4]
