Turner played the role of the Even Bigger Black Guy in the movie Trading Places (1983), which starred Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy. His character repeatedly utters the word 'Yeah' in a tone described by The New York Times as 'deeper than deep' to Billy Ray Valentine, played by Murphy, while imprisoned in a jail cell.[1]

"At the end of the New York premiere of the comedy Trading Places this week, Turner was credited with portraying a character identified only as 'Even Bigger Black Guy.'... The feelings are punctuated by Turner, the even bigger black guy, who following each threat, says: 'Yeah.' The voice, deeper than deep, seems to erupt from somewhere around his belly button."
