Herdings Park is a tram stop on the South Yorkshire Supertram network, opened on 3 April 1995.[1] It is located north of Herdings Park. It is adjacent to Raeburn Road, and is the current terminus of the Herdings Park branch and the Purple Route.
History
This stop was opened along with the track section between Gleadless Townend and Herdings Park in April 1995, a week after the Halfway extension opened.[2]
Layout
Herdings Park tram stop is situated at the western end of a 500-metre long reserved tram-only section from the next stop at Herdings/Leighton Road. It has only a single low-level platform.[3]
At the centre of the platform, a passenger information display stands and shows estimated arrival times for trams.[4] This stop has step-free access.[5]
Services
The Purple route runs hourly Monday−Saturday and every 30 minutes (peak frequency) on Sundays.[6]

Bus
Bus routes 1a (Jordanthorpe–High Green via Sheffield) and 11 (Herdings Park–Sheffield) operate on the nearby Raeburn Road.
