Hepburn ministry
Cabinet of Ontario, 1934–1942
The Hepburn Ministry was the combined cabinet (formally the Executive Council of Ontario ) that governed Ontario from June 10, 1934, to October 21, 1942. It was led by the 11th Premier of Ontario , Mitch Hepburn . The ministry was made up of members of the Liberal Party of Ontario , which commanded a majority of the seats in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario .
The ministry replaced the Henry ministry following the resignation of Premier George Stewart Henry . The Hepburn ministry governed through the 19th Parliament of Ontario , and the first half of the 20th Parliament of Ontario .
Henry resigned in 1942, though he continued serving in his successor and ministry colleague Gordon Conant's cabinet as Treasurer .
