American politician
Heather Meyer (born August 14, 1980) is an American politician serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives from the 29th district. She assumed office on September 7, 2021, after the resignation of her predecessor, Brett Parker.[1][2]
Early life and education
Meyer was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Olathe, Kansas by a single father.[2][3] At age 12, she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.[4][5] She attended Johnson County Community College and received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Kansas.[2][3]
Personal life
Meyer is married and has two children.[2] She is openly bisexual.[3][6]
