At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,025 in 208 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,103 people in 260 households.[2]
In 2023, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Jazmurian County. The city and the rural district were transferred to the new Central District, with Zeh-e Kalut as the county's capital.[6]
