District in Győr-Moson-Sopron, Hungary
Győr (Hungarian : Győri járás ) is a district in eastern part of Győr-Moson-Sopron County . Győr is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Western Transdanubia Statistical Region .
Geography
Győr District borders with Mosonmagyaróvár District , the Slovakian regions of Nitra Region and Trnava Region to the north, Komárom District and Kisbér District (Komárom-Esztergom County ) to the east, Pannonhalma District and Pápa District (Veszprém County ) to the south, Tét District and Csorna District to the west.
