Gmina Milicz is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Milicz County , Lower Silesian Voivodeship , in south-western Poland . Its seat is the town of Milicz , which lies approximately 49 kilometres (30 mi) north of the regional capital Wrocław .
The gmina covers an area of 435.61 square kilometres (168.2 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 24,172. It is part of the larger Wrocław metropolitan area .
