The mouth of Gerlib Creek is located about 60 km (37 mi) southeast of Telegraph Creek, British Columbia, about 105 km (65 mi) south of Dease Lake, British Columbia, and about 250 km (160 mi) southeast of Juneau, Alaska.[4]
Gerlib Creek originates on the north side of Tadeda Peak, about 18 km (11 mi) south of Mount Edziza. From its source, Gerlib Creek flows east between Armadillo Peak to the south and Esja Peak to the north. Then it turns south, flowing by Hoyaa Peak before emptying into Bourgeaux Creek.[2][10]
