Furkan Ubeyde Çamoğlu (born 2005) is a Turkish taekwondo athlete who won the gold medal at the 2024 European Taekwondo Championships.[1]
Career
In 2024, Furkan Ubeyde Çamoğlu won the gold medal by defeating Konstantinos Dimitropoulos from Greece in the final of men's 54 kg at the European Championships. He reached the final by defeating Amine Boukarnia from France in the first round, Relja Ivković from Serbia in the second round, Tom Pashcovsky from Israel in the quarterfinals and Josip Teskera from Croatia in the semifinals.[2][3] He won the gold medal at the 2024 European U21 Taekwondo Championships in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, defeating Bulgarian Hristiyan Georgiev in the final.[4]
