1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in)? Really? Should it not read 914 mm (3 ft)? See rail transport in Peru and PeruRail. - I didnt measure the tracks when I was there but was definitly small track. If the sources say 914 mm I accept that.Smiley.toerist (talk) 07:29, 27 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2014-09-27T07:29:00.000Z","author":"Smiley.toerist","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Smiley.toerist-2014-09-27T07:29:00.000Z-Peter_Horn-2014-09-27T00:05:00.000Z","replies":["c-Peter_Horn-2014-09-27T18:23:00.000Z-Smiley.toerist-2014-09-27T07:29:00.000Z"]}}-->

I was at the other end of the line in Aguas Calientes a few years back. The line comes to an unceremonious end behind the town. I never thought to take a picture of it, and now I regret that. I do recall a superb climbing trail starting right there. I also recall the climb out of Cuzco, which required a number of switchbacks.
