this record was written from a very therapeutic standpoint. It was assembled from a very therapeutic standpoint. And of course on a global level, we were all going through unprecedented times as a world. And so when I was making the album, I was making the album during that time, at the height of COVID.

Face the River is the seventh studio album by the American pop musician Gavin DeGraw , released in 2022 by RCA Records . It was written about his parents, who had recently died.[ 2] [ 3] It was his first album in six years and was supported by a concert tour.[ 4]
