Yodo (You Only Die Ones) is a Ghanaian teenage TV series Created by Nana Kwame Asante (Tony Spirit) and Produced by Gitlom Production. The series premiered on 18 March 2025 and follows the lives of teenagers navigating social pressures, abuse, and personal identity within the senior high school environment in Ghana.

Set primarily in Kumasi, Ghana, the series centers on Aboagye, a 17-year-old student whose life gradually unravels due to destructive peer influence, highlighting the dangers and consequences of adolescent vulnerability and social pressure. The show explores themes including sexual abuse, substance abuse, exploitation, trauma, and mental health challenges affecting teenagers, particularly within African communities.

Yodo was created as an educational and advocacy-driven drama aimed at addressing the culture of silence surrounding abuse among young people. The series emphasizes the importance of speaking out and seeking support from trusted adults, peers, and institutions, while encouraging students to break cycles of fear, intimidation, and emotional isolation. Its central message focuses on empowering teenagers to confront abuse, build resilience, and make informed life decisions.

Produced in English and filmed on location in Kumasi, the series features performances by actors including Ama Yeaboah, Samuella Yaaba Domfeh, Miles Agyei, Ellen Brown, Daniel Owusu Yeboah, and David Osei.

Blending dramatic storytelling with social education, Yodo forms part of a growing movement of Ghanaian youth-focused television dramas that combine entertainment with awareness-building, addressing real-life issues affecting adolescents and promoting positive behavioral and mental health outcomes.
