Xanthopimpla stemmator is a species of parasitoid wasp first described in 1822.[1] They target various stem boring moth species as hosts,[2][3] and are used in agriculture as biological control agents.[4]
This species mostly inhabits Afro-Eurasia,[3] being originally from Asia[2] before being introduced to other areas such as Africa[4] and North America.[3]
