World Baseball Network (WBN) is a digital media company covering international baseball, founded in 2022 by Matthew Tallarini. Based in New York, New York, the company publishes news, video interviews, and podcast content about baseball leagues and events including MLB, MiLB, NCAA baseball, the World Baseball Classic, KBO, NPB, and the Caribbean Series.
History
World Baseball Network was founded in 2022 by Matthew Tallarini, who serves as chief correspondent. Louis Tallarini serves as chairman, overseeing financing and business partnerships.
In February 2024, the company launched an advertising services division intended to connect advertisers with its media properties.
Content
WBN operates a website, WorldBaseball.com, along with a video podcast series called Baseball Without Borders focused on international baseball. Ahead of the 2026 World Baseball Classic, the company expanded its editorial coverage and reported having published more than 920 articles related to the World Baseball Classic since its founding.
