Tal Maimon is an entrepreneur and hospitality executive based in Los Angeles, California. He is the founder and chief executive officer of The Maimon Group, a luxury short-term rental, property management, and concierge company headquartered in Beverly Hills, California.
Early life
Tal Maimon was born and raised in Israel. He immigrated to the United States with the ambition of building a business career in Los Angeles. He began his working life in the hospitality industry, initially employed as a waiter in the city before transitioning into real estate and construction — sectors in which he would develop more than 15 years of professional experience.
Career
Early career: UHM Properties
Prior to founding The Maimon Group, Maimon served as chief executive officer of UHM Properties from July 2016 to January 2018.[1]
The Maimon Group
In 2017, Maimon acquired his first property in Los Angeles and began assembling a management team focused on luxury short-term rentals. He formally established The Maimon Group in January 2018, headquartered in Beverly Hills, California.[2]
The Maimon Group operates as a full-service luxury hospitality and property management firm. Its core services include short-term villa and private home rentals; bespoke guest concierge services including private chef, spa, exotic car rental, and private jet and yacht charter arrangements; and comprehensive owner services covering maintenance, security, accounting, taxation, and city regulatory compliance. The company serves both property owners — managing residential assets as rental investments — and high-net-worth guests seeking private residential stays.
The Maimon Group's exclusive portfolio is anchored in Los Angeles, spanning Beverly Hills, Malibu, and the Hollywood Hills, with additional non-exclusive operations in Miami, Palm Springs, and San Diego. The company has described its Los Angeles holdings as the largest exclusive luxury short-term rental portfolio in the market.[3]
Maimon has also developed the company's properties as event and film production venues, an approach intended to expand revenue streams for property owners beyond standard rental income.
LPMS platform
Maimon invested in the development of a proprietary software platform called LPMS (Luxury Property Management System), designed to enable collaboration and resource-sharing among luxury property managers. The platform reflects a stated philosophy of industry partnership: rather than competing with peer operators, The Maimon Group built infrastructure intended to allow property managers to exchange resources and contribute to each other's operations.[4]
Media and press coverage
In February 2026, Maimon was quoted as a real estate and luxury property expert in Travel + Leisure, in an article titled "15 Best U.S. Beach Towns to Live in Year-round, According to Real Estate Experts," written by Lydia Mansel. Maimon provided commentary on three California coastal markets: Malibu, which he described as a destination where "Hollywood glamor meets genuine surf culture" while offering proximity to Los Angeles; La Jolla, which he characterized as "San Diego's crown jewel — where rugged Pacific coastline meets refined village charm"; and Laguna Beach, which he cited for its "unparalleled combination of natural beauty and cultural sophistication."[5]
In December 2025, Maimon was profiled in JustLuxe, a luxury lifestyle publication, in an article titled "The Future of Luxury Travel." Interviewed by Susan Swendon, Maimon discussed the shift among affluent travelers away from hotels toward private luxury rental properties, The Maimon Group's differentiation from short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO, and his market outlook for the luxury rental sector through 2026.[6]
Film and media
Maimon holds a professional listing on IMDb (nm14636453), reflecting The Maimon Group's work making private residential properties available as film and television production locations — an extension of its venue services business.
Personal life
Maimon is based in Los Angeles, California. Outside of work, he has cited interests in travel, horseback riding, and fitness training.[7]
