SPII develops human–machine interface systems and control solutions for railway and industrial applications.[1] The company designs and manufactures driver desks, control panels, master controllers, railway displays and traction-related components for rolling stock applications.
Its activities include ergonomic studies, industrial design, engineering and integration of driver cabin systems, with products developed in compliance with European railway standards including UIC and EN regulations.
SPII also develops high-voltage traction components such as disconnectors, earthing devices, roof switches, terminal boards and grounding interlocking systems for railway vehicles.

Design and innovation
SPII's activities in railway human–machine interfaces include ergonomic studies, industrial design and user-centered driver cabin development.[3]
