Rotimikeys
Rotimikeys.[1] (born Olurotimi Michael Akinfenwa; 4 November 1980) is a Nigerian music producer, singer-songwriter, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and creative director. He is known for his work in Afrobeats[2], gospel[3], pop[4], and commercial music production, and for collaborations with artists including Yemi Alade[5], Nathaniel Bassey[6], Flavour[7] and Darey[8].
He bagged Best Afro Rock Producer[9] and Best Afro Gospel Producer[9] awards at The Beatz Awards 2016[10]

Early life and education
Born in Lagos[11] State, Nigeria[12], he developed an early interest in music through church activities, where he learned to play drums, guitar, and keyboards. He later studied Accounting at Olabisi Onabanjo University[13], after which he became Senior Studio Producer at Insight Communications Limited[14] from 2007 to 2012.
Career
Music production, songwriting and performance
Rotimikeys began his professional music career in the early 2000s, working in studio production, sound engineering, and composition. He later started gaining recognition for his work in artist development, songwriting, arrangement, and live music direction.
He has worked with several Nigerian and African artists across mainstream and gospel genres.

In 2013, Rotimikeys played keyboards on stage for Asa[15] at the Calabar Jazz Festival.

In 2016, He co-wrote, produced and was a featured artist on the track "Kelele" on Yemi Alade[5]'s Mama Africa[16] album.He also produced the hit single "Nakupenda" on the same album.
In 2017, He co-wrote and produced the hit single "Olowogbogboro"[17] for Nathaniel Bassey[6]. He also recorded Nathaniel's hit single "Olorun Agbaye" which featured Chandler Moore[18] and OBA in 2021.
In 2019, he produced the track "Lai Lai" on Yemi Alade's Woman Of Steel[19] album.
In 2020, He produced "Flavour Of Africa", "Omo T'emi" and "Product Of Grace" tracks on Flavour's seventh studio album, Flavour Of Africa
From 2017 to 2020, Rotimikeys became the Music Director for The Black Magic[20] World Tour by Yemi Alade[5].
In 2018, He was Music Director for Salif Keita[21], LadySmith Black Mambazo[22] and Yemi Alade[5] at the Baseline Fest in Honour of Nelson Mandela[23] in Johannesburg[24], South Africa.
In 2020, after returning to Nigeria, He also became Music Director for Darey[8]'s Way Home Tour till 2023.
He has also been credited for production and arrangement contributions on commercially successful Nigerian songs and faith-based music projects, such as being the Creative Director for Nathaniel Bassey's "Names Of God"[1] live recording.
Commercial audio production
Beyond artist records, Rotimikeys became known in Nigeria’s advertising and media industries for creating jingles, brand sound design, and campaign audio for major companies including:

He is the founder and chief executive officer of SonG23 Productions[27], a Nigerian creative production company focused on music, sound, live production, and content development.

As a recording artist, Rotimikeys has released original music blending Afrobeats[2], inspirational themes, gospel influences, and contemporary African pop.
