RetroStyle Games is a Ukrainian video game art studio that specializes in full-cycle 2D and 3D art production, animation, UI/UX design, and video game development. The studio has collaborated with international developers and publishers, including Sega, 11 bit studios, Relic Entertainment, Ubisoft, Haiku Games, and others.

RetroStyle Games has developed its own original intellectual properties, such as Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival, Zombie Run, and Last Pirate Survival.

The studio was founded in 2010 in Kyiv, Ukraine, by Pavel Konstantinov. It began by developing casual and children's mobile games before pivoting to game art outsourcing, and grew to employ more than 100 artists and developers.^[2]

In 2024, RetroStyle Games began work on its first PC title, the survival roguelike Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival. A demo was released during Steam Next Fest in June 2024,^[3][4] and the game later entered Steam Early Access the same year.^[5] The 1.0 version was released on Steam in May 2025.^[6][7]

RetroStyle Games' core business is game art outsourcing, providing 2D and 3D art, animation, and UI design for external developers and publishers.^[2]

Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival is a survival roguelike that combines "bullet-heaven" combat in the style of Vampire Survivors with underwater mining and tower defense elements; the player pilots a mech spider on the floor of a hostile ocean planet, mining resources and fighting waves of sea creatures.^[3][12][13]

The game received a positive reception. GameSpew scored it 8 out of 10, calling it a "moreish, frenetic struggle for survival",^[6] TheXboxHub praised the originality of its central hook,^[14] and The Review Geek recommended it as a challenging roguelike.^[15]

A cooperative version, Ocean Keeper Co-op Drill Multiplayer, was subsequently released, in which up to four players defend their mech spider against endless waves of monsters.^[16]

In February 2026, RetroStyle Games announced Last Pirates: Die Together, a four-player cooperative comedic horror game.^[17][16] Players take the role of a greedy ship captain's crew who scavenge cursed islands for loot while avoiding supernatural threats such as ghostly sharks, apparitions and sea monsters.^{[18][19][20][21][22]}

The game has been described as an extraction game, drawing comparisons to R.E.P.O. for its stretchy-arm grabbing mechanic and to Escape from Tarkov for its loot-extraction loop, though its principal threats are AI-controlled enemies rather than other players.^[18] The elastic arms allow players to cross rooms, grab objects and revive teammates, and the developers have emphasised physics-based chaos and emergent moments among friends over traditional scares.^[19]

An open playtest held in April 2026 attracted more than 16,000 unique players,^[23] and a public demo — set on the "Silent Cove" map and featuring eleven levels and nine monster types — was released on 28 May 2026.^[18][19][24] A full release is planned for the third quarter of 2026.^[18][20]
