History

Proctor360 Inc. was incorporated in Virginia on October 4, 2018, according to records filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.[2]

In 2019, the company raised approximately $80,000 through an equity crowdfunding campaign on the StartEngine platform.[3] A second crowdfunding offering was conducted on Netcapital between August 2021 and January 2023.[4]

Operations

In October 2021, Proctor360 entered into an agreement with FK Partners, a Brazilian financial training firm, to provide remote proctoring for online certification examinations in Brazil.[5]

In 2023, the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) selected Proctor360 to provide proctoring services for its WellSharp Live certification examination. The selection was reported by Drilling Contractor, the official publication of the IADC.[6]

In May 2023, Proctor360 announced an integration with TesTrac, an online examination delivery platform.[7]

In August 2025, Saint Louis University's Trudy Busch Valentine School of Nursing announced it had selected Proctor360 as its remote proctoring provider, integrating the service with its Canvas learning management system.[8]

In September 2025, the American Association of Provider Compensation Professionals selected Proctor360 to deliver its certification examinations.[9]

Technology

Proctor360 holds a patent-pending application for a device called the 360 Total View, described as a headset incorporating a 360-degree camera, microphone, and speaker, designed for use during examinations to capture a full spherical view of the test environment.[10]

Certifications

The company states it holds SOC 2 certification under standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and operates in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act as a contracted third-party service provider for educational institutions.[11]
