Oion Agiou Stefanou (Greek: ΟΙΟΝ Αγίου Στεφάνου) is a Greek amateur basketball club based in Agios Stefanos, Attica, Greece.[1] It is part of the Athletic Gymnastic Club Agiou Stefanou «To Oion», founded in 1992.[2]

The basketball section competes in regional competitions organised by the Athens Basketball Clubs Association (ESKA).[3]

History

The parent athletic club was established in 1992 in Agios Stefanos, within the Municipality of Dionysos in northeastern Attica.[1] The basketball department competes within the regional league system administered by ESKA.

During the 2023–24 season, the senior men's team participated in the A’ ESKA division and finished 12th, resulting in relegation to B’ ESKA for the following season.[4]

The club also operates youth teams competing in ESKA-organised competitions, including under-16 and under-18 divisions.[3]

Arena

The club plays its home games at the Kleisto Gymnastirio Agiou Stefanou, a municipal indoor sports facility located in Agios Stefanos.[5] The venue has a reported seating capacity of approximately 250 spectators.[5]

Coaching

  • Thanasis Papachatzis – Served as technical advisor to the club.[3]
