Jason Bye is a British professional photojournalist and photographer with a career spanning over three decades. He is best known for his editorial, press, and documentary photography, with work regularly featured across national British broadsheets and international news agencies. Based in East Anglia, Bye has extensively documented regional current affairs, hard politics, and long-form environmental shifts in the United Kingdom.

Bye completed his formal training in photojournalism at Richmond College. Following his studies, he entered the competitive London media landscape as a freelance press photographer.

Bye began his national press career working for The Independent in London. He subsequently took on regular shifts for major international news wire services, including the London bureaus of the Agence France-Presse (AFP), Reuters, and the Press Association (PA).
