InvestEngine is a European financial services company based in London, United Kingdom. It launched in 2019 and operates an electronic trading platform in the UK.[5]

The platform offers commission-free investing and specializes in exchange-traded funds (ETFs). InvestEngine currently serves customers in the United Kingdom and is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under firm reference number 801128.[6]

History

InvestEngine was co-founded by Andrey Dobrynin and Gumtree founder Simon Crookall.[7] When InvestEngine first launched in 2019, it was as a robo-advisor.[7] In 2021, they pivoted and launched a DIY portfolio which remains their core product offering.[3]

Operations

InvestEngine appointed Matt Gatrell, who previously served as CEO for Nutmeg as their first Non-Executive Director in July 2026.[8]
