Introducing Jodea is a 2021 American independent comedy film written by and starring Chloe Traicos and directed by Jon Cohen. The film follows an aspiring actress whose life changes after an encounter with a film director, leading to an opportunity in the film industry.

Jodea Maxwell is an aspiring actress attempting to establish a career in the film industry. After being dismissed from a production by director Zac Kawalsky, she experiences personal and financial setbacks.

Following an unsuccessful attempt to obtain representation at a talent agency, Jodea is involved in a minor car accident with Zac. He compensates her for the damage, and they later meet again during a casting-related dispute at the same agency.

Jodea requests an opportunity to audition for Zac’s upcoming film. Although her initial audition is unsuccessful, producer Grant Goldberg proposes a wager that Zac can develop her into a capable performer within a limited timeframe. Zac agrees and begins coaching her.

As Zac works with Jodea, she gradually improves as an actress and the two develop a personal connection. Tensions arise when Zac distances himself during the film’s premiere. Jodea later chooses to continue her career independently.

Zac later attempts to reconcile after publicly acknowledging her work, and the two eventually reunite.
