Gilbert Devol (May 11, 1740 – January 1824) was an American lawyer who served as a justice of the Colonial Rhode Island Supreme Court from May 1786 to May 1787.[1]

Devol died in January 1824, at the age of 63, having frozen to death on his farm in Waterford, Ohio.[4]
