Edward Lee Busby Jr. (July 25, 1972 – May 14, 2026) was an American convicted murderer who killed retired Texas Christian University professor Laura Lee Crane. Busby was executed via lethal injection on May 14, 2026, becoming the 600th person executed in Texas since the state resumed carrying out the death penalty in 1982.[1][2]
