Douglas Hall (23 July 1931- ) was an English illustrator, best known for his illustrations of Lillian Beckwith's Skye series of novels.

Born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, he attended Doncaster School of Art, Leeds College of Art, and the Royal College of Art. He illustrated children's books, adult fiction, textbooks and book dust-jackets. Apart from his dust-jackets which were in full colour, most of his work was in black and white or in two colours. He shared a studio with his wife Dorothy, who helped him design books. They had two children, Jonathan and Alexander.^[1]

He illustrated seven of Lillian Beckwith's Skye series. Speaking of working on The Sea for Breakfast, he said "[It] was one of the most interesting for me because I went 'on location' to the highlands of Scotland for material, and discovered, as it were, a new world. Much of the information I acquired was later used for illustrating Storm from the West."^[1]
