Draft:Clintonworld

Clintonworld[a] is an informal term used to describe the circle of political advisors, employees, and associates connected to former U.S. president Bill Clinton and former U.S. secretary of state and first lady Hillary Clinton. The term emerged during Bill Clinton's presidency and later became widely used to describe the broader political and professional ecosystem surrounding both Clintons.

The term encompasses individuals who have worked for either Clinton in any of their various political and post-political roles—including the White House, the United States Senate, the State Department, the Clinton Foundation, and successive presidential campaigns—as well as major donors and figures in the broader Democratic Party establishment with close ties to the Clinton family.

Former Clintonworld member Doug Band, once one of Bill's closest aides, compared the network to a "cult" in a 2020 interview with Vanity Fair.[3]
