The CGBA (Cedar Grove Basketball Association) is a professional 2v2 Basketball league. The CGBA started in the local park Cedar Grove and was founded by commissioners Benjamin Reno and Will Crockett. The league is comprised of 5 teams but varies in team amount on a per season basis.

The CGBA was created in 2022 and was expanded in 2025. The league follows Streetball Rules and is officiated by the players. The CGBA is associated with Washington Wizards Point Guard Carleton "Bub" Carrington III and has been sponsored by John Crockett as well as Karen Fifield; parents of players Will Crockett, and Seth Fifield, respectively.

Benjamin Reno has the most CGBA championships with 7, winning most recently in Season 10. The Nottoway Bucks are the reigning league champions beating the Borge Street Bees in the finals.

Prior to each season there is a leaguewide vote to determine the standings of each player. Based on the results, on the day of the season players draft their teammates based on skill level. Following a 2 year gap, in 2025 the CGBA expanded, adding multiple players and franchising. The league also relocated from Cedar Grove to Borge Street Park, however they kept the Cedar Grove name.

There were originally 4 teams, the Ranger Road Raptors, Borge Street Bees, Nottoway Bucks, and Water Oak Weasels. Due to a surge in players the league went from 4 teams to 5 and added the Mosaic Mammoths. In addition to adding teams the league also started tracking stats, which has since stopped due to the effort it took. There was an unofficial spring 2025 preseason, featuring 4 teams and won by Ben Reno and Ben Crutchfield. So far the Raptors have been the only team to have never made a finals since the conception of teams. The fans at Ranger Road are calling for Gabe to get a better teammate so they can be more competitive in the upcoming seasons.

2025: Prior to season 8 the League Commissioners Ben and Will with the help of Deputy Commissioner Seth created rankings of the player base before the seasons. The rankings helped decide who gets what teammate.

There have been multiple missed calls and mishaps with score keeping, such as a team not winning by 2 points or missed foul calls. This has yet to fully affect a finals matchup but has altered playoff results. Some have argued that it is a conflict of interest to have players officiating their opponents, and multiple players (mostly Conran and David) have had confrontations with the refs. "The travel that never traveled" was a large controversy that occurred in season 11 where the officials called a travel on David which was reviewed after the fact to be nowhere near a travel. The controversy stems from the fact that it was Ben Reno who made the call, was previously eliminated by David and Will, and a lot of trash talk ensued. In general most of the players are well split into tiers, but amongst those tiers there are disputes on who is better or worse, the largest of which being the argument for the 2. Gabe however, has said to be the more skilled player, and a worse team player. Neither player has won a title since season 5 (2023), but the title for number 2 is still up for grabs.
