Draft:Arcella Sound
Submission declined on 12 July 2026 by ChrysGalley (talk). Thank you for the recent update. Remember to sign in before editing. However these changes did not address the core problem here, which is notability. This requires independent reliable sources to back up the text of the draft. The only source here is non independent. So kindly follow through the panel and links provided by the previous reviewer. In particular we need the WP:GOLDENRULE to be clearly met, and ideally three times over.

Guido Arcella (born March 13, 1990) is an Argentine-Mexican music composer, audio producer, and cultural preservation advocate. He is the founder of Arcella Sound and is known for his work in video game audio integration and his initiatives to preserve the Maya language and regional music of the Yucatán Peninsula.
Education and early career
Arcella received a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and Music Composition from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas, graduating in 2014. He later attended Berklee College of Music's Valencia campus, where he earned a master's degree in scoring for film, television, and video games in 2015.[1]
Career
Following his graduation from Berklee, Arcella returned to the Yucatán Peninsula and founded Arcella Sound, a studio focused on film and video game scoring, and Casona Indie Music Studio, a recording facility.[2]
He has maintained an ongoing relationship with his alma mater, SMU. In 2021, he completed an artistic residency at the SMU Meadows School of the Arts, conducting workshops on film music production and entrepreneurship for media composers. He has also collaborated with SMU Guildhall, providing technical expertise and sound design guidance for student video game projects, including the 2019 title Rhome.
Cultural preservation
Arcella is a co-founder and managing director of the cultural initiatives Barrio Maya and Múul Paax, programs incubated by the Fundación Haciendas del Mundo Maya. Established in collaboration with fellow Berklee alumnus Gael Hedding, the projects aim to counteract the decline of the Maya language among younger generations.[3]
Barrio Maya supports indigenous music and the continuation of the Maya language through rap, while Múul Paax (meaning "music among us" in Maya) focuses on teaching children stagecraft, music theory, and the construction of pre-Hispanic instruments.[4]
