History
AckoDrive was launched in 2019[3] as a platform to help users browse and purchase new cars, beginning with pilot operations in Bengaluru.[4][5] In 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and growing demand for contactless transactions, AckoDrive upgraded its platform to support fully online car purchases,[6] including options for financing, insurance, and home delivery.[7][8]
By 2024, the platform had expanded to 12 Indian cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Chennai.[9][10] It also added after-sales services, operating two service centres in Bengaluru as of 2024.[11][12] AckoDrive has announced partnerships with automotive and mobility platforms such as Spinny and CARS24. In March 2024, it partnered with Zoomcar to support vehicle purchases for platform hosts through financing options.[13][4]
