Ashton Roddy (born September 24, 2010), known professionally as 4Time, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He emerged early 2026 with his debut two-song EP Time Is Everything (2026).[1] His stage name represents the importance of time. His music has been described as introspective, profound, and melodic.
Early Life
Ashton Roddy was born on September 24, 2010, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was raised with three other brothers. He was involved with music his whole life, joining his high school band playing the trombone. He taught himself how to play multiple instruments, including the guitar. Roddy began taking his music career seriously in his freshman year of high school.
Roddy grew up being heavily inspired by the late 2010s era of emerging rap music, with echoes of Juice WRLD, XXXTentacion, and Travis Scott.
Career
Roddy began to develop himself as an artist in his freshman year of high school. His first release, "Time Is Everything," was released on streaming platforms on January 9, 2026. It was produced by 4Time himself, being independently released.
