Devil: The Hero is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language action film written, directed, and co-produced by Prakash. It stars Darshan, Rachana Rai, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jisshu Sengupta, and Fardeen Khan in lead roles. Music for the film was composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, and the cinematography was done by Sudhakar S. Raj.[1][2][3][4]

Announcement and filming

The film was officially announced on 2 November 2023, and filming began on 22 March 2024 in Bengaluru.[8]

Soundtrack

B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the score for the film,[9] with audio rights going to Saregama.[10]

Marketing

The first glimpse of the film was released on 15 February 2024 and coincided with Darshan's birthday.[11][12] The Times of India wrote, "With devilish dialogues and intense action sequences, the actor captivates audiences with his portrayal of a character still in mystery."[2] A behind-the-scenes video was released on 10 May 2024.[13]

Release

The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 20 December 2024.[14]
