Dennis Lynch

Dennis M. Lynch (January 1933—November 18, 2007) was an American politician who served as mayor of Pawtucket, Rhode Island from 1973 to 1981.[1]

Early life

Dennnis Lynch was born in January 1933 to William J. Lynch and Anna Lynch (née Collins).[2]

Political career

Electoral history

Lynch was elected Mayor of Pawtucket on February 20, 1973, defeating councilman James Doyle by 12,381 votes to 10,742.[3]

Death and legacy

Lynch died on November 18, 2007. He was posthumously recognized by the Rhode Island General Assembly.[citation needed]
