Delvine Relin Meringor (born 1 August 1992) is a Kenyan-born Romanian long distance runner. She ran the marathon at the 2024 Summer Olympics.[1]
Career
Running for Kenya, she finished fourth in Edinburgh at the 2008 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in the Junior women's race, Winning a silver medal in the team event.[2]
She was given Romanian citizenship in May 2021.[3]
[4] In March 2023, she finished in 3rd place at the Barcelona Marathon in a time of 2:20:48.[5]
She finished fourth at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in the Women's half marathon, running a time of 1:09:25 in Rome.[6]
She ran the marathon at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris on 11 August 2024, placing seventh overall.[7][8] In December 2024, she finished fourth at the European Cross Country Championships in Antalya, Turkey.[9]
