Deep Jandu is a Canadian music producer, recording artist, composer and songwriter associated with Punjabi music. He is founder and CEO of record label Royal Music Gang.[1] Jandu released his debut album Nach in 2011. His song "Daru Daru" was well received by the audience.[2] He was also nominated for Filmfare Awards Punjabi Best Music Album category for Channa Mereya (2017), along Gold Boy, Jaidev Kumar, and Sonu Ramgarhia.[3]

Deep Jandu, born December 21, 1990, is a prominent Canadian Punjabi music producer, singer, and rapper. Known for his fusion of hip-hop with Punjabi beats, Deep has significantly impacted the Punjabi music industry since his debut album, Nach, released in 2011. He co-founded the record label Royal Music Gang, which has been instrumental in launching and shaping the careers of artists like Karan Aujla, Sidhu Moose Wala, and Elly Mangat. Deep's production career took off in 2015, as he began producing hit singles like "Kali Camaro" and "Affair," which showcased his unique musical style. He later gained wider recognition with tracks like "Daru Daru" and "Aa Gya Ni Ohi Billo Time," which celebrated his hit tag line. His influence has helped elevate Punjabi music internationally, particularly through collaborations with influential figures such as Diljit Dosanjh, Bohemia, Divine, and Jazzy B.

In July 2018, Jandu's first son was born and was named Aryan Singh Jandu.[6] Some of his songs have been criticised for glorifying guns and drugs.[7][8][9] He had disputes with his old co-artist Elly Mangat over releasing song "Aa Gaya Ni Ohi Billo Time" under Speed Records.[10] In June 2019, he was attacked along with Karan Aujla by a Punjab-based gang in Surrey.[11] A month before the attack, they received an extortion call from the same gang.[12]
