Davide Boscacci (born March 26, 1976, in Sondrio, Italy) is an Italian communication and marketing consultant, copywriter, and public speaker, currently serving as Chief Creative Officer at Accenture Song for Italy, Central Europe, and Greece.

Early life and education

Davide Boscacci was born to Flavio Boscacci, a former professor of economics at the Politecnico di Milano, and Lorenza Melé. Davide Boscacci completed his secondary education in Italy and earned a degree in Foreign Literature and Languages from the Università degli Studi di Milano, where he presented a dissertation on the dystopian narratives of Anthony Burgess.^[1]

Career

Davide Boscacci media career began in 2001 as a Junior Copywriter at Headline, where he worked on campaigns for brands like KLM, Hotelplan, and Creval Bank. In 2003, he joined BGS D'Arcy Milan as a Junior Copywriter, where he created print, radio, and TV campaigns for Wind, Ikea, Swatch, Champion, and Fnac.^[2]

In April 2004, Boscacci joined RMG Connect - JWT as a Senior Copywriter, leading campaigns for brands like Kellogg's, Alitalia, Vodafone, Juventus F.C., Beiersdorf, Shell, Alfa Romeo, and Illy. In November 2006, he was promoted to Creative Supervisor, where he oversaw creative direction for clients such as Canon, Shell, Nestlé, Kraft, Alfa Romeo, and Illy, focusing on integrated campaigns, online communication, and direct marketing.^[3]^[4]

From March 2008 to 2013, Boscacci advanced to Associate Creative Director at JWT, where he led creative strategies for Huggies, Indesit, Wilkinson, Shell, and Honda Motorbikes, managing both integrated campaigns and digital communication initiatives.^[5]^[6]

In November 2013, he joined Leo Burnett & Cloud14as Group Creative Director - Head of Digital and Brand Activation, working on the global FCA account for brands like Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge. Based in Turin and Detroit, he managed creative teams and produced campaigns for regions including EMEA, APAC, and North America, participating in Leo Burnett's Global Product Committees under the guidance of Mark Tutssel.^[7]^[8]

In 2018, Boscacci became the Global Executive Creative Director at Publicis, leading creative projects across Milan, Paris, and Lausanne, and overseeing campaigns for global brands such as Coca-Cola, Nescafé, and Voltaren (GSK).^[9]^[10]

As of June 2022, Boscacci is the Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at Accenture Song, where he provides creative leadership for Italy, Central Europe, and Greece under the direction of David Droga. His role involves integrating technology, strategy, and creativity to redefine the industry.^[11]

Public activity

Since 2014, Davide Boscacci serves as vice president of the Art Directors Club Italiano (ADCI), contributing to the development of Italy's advertising sector.^[12]^[13]

In 2018, he took on a leadership role within the UNA - Italian Association of Communication Agencies as a board member, supporting the growth and development of Italian communication agencies.^[14]^[15] From 2019 to 2023, he served as a deputy minister of Ministry of Economic Development.^[16]^[17]

Davide Boscacci co-founded IF!, Italy's largest festival dedicated to creativity.^[18]^[19] During 10 editions of this festival, he has interviewed Italian celebrities like Oliviero Toscani, Linus, Dardust, Beppe Sala, Vittorio Sgarbi, Morgan.^[20] He also served as a juror for multiple awards, including two editions of the Cannes Lions, as well as D&AD, Effies, Eurobest, Clio, ADCI Awards, and the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE).^[21]^[22]
