Darby Lancaster (born 23 April 2003) is an Australian rugby union player, who plays for the Rebels. His preferred position is wing.[1]

Early career

Lancaster is from Kempsey, NSW. He was a Kempsey Cannonballs junior and attended The Scots College in Sydney for year 11 and 12. He plays his club rugby for Eastern Suburbs and attends the University of New South Wales.[2] He was named in the Australia U20 squad in 2023.[3]

Professional career

Lancaster was called into the Australia Sevens team in 2022.[4] His performances for Australia Sevens earned him a contract for the Super Rugby side Melbourne Rebels.[5] He was named in the Rebels squad for the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season.[6] Lancaster was recalled to the Australian Sevens team for the Perth tournament in 2024 off the back of strong performances in 2023.
