Colin Edward Westaway (27 August 1936 – 15 October 2015) was an Australian cricketer. He played 19 first-class matches for Queensland between 1957 and 1964.[1]
Westaway was a leg-spin bowler and tail-end batsman. He achieved his best bowling figures of 6 for 88 and his highest score of 33 in the same match, the opening match of the 1960–61 Sheffield Shield, against New South Wales in Brisbane.[2] Illness ended his first-class career after the 1963–64 season.[3]
A cricket ground in the Brisbane suburb of Moggill is named the Col Westaway Oval in his honour.[3]
