The Central District of Gachsaran County (Persian : بخش مرکزی شهرستان گچساران ) is in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran . Its capital is the city of Dogonbadan .[ 3]

Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 109,458 in 24,242 households.[ 4] The following census in 2011 counted 118,022 people in 30,136 households.[ 5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 123,370 inhabitants in 34,089 households.[ 2]
