The FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup is a class of motorcycle racing featuring Harley-Davidson bagger-style motorcycles modified for racing. The series is sanctioned by the FIM and supports MotoGP at selected European and North American rounds.
The series began with the 2026 racing season, following the MotoE World Championship being put on hiatus at the end of 2025.[1] Many riders, who had previously competed in the MotoE series, moved to the Bagger World Cup for its inaugural season.
History
The Bagger World Cup was revealed on 5 November 2025 at EICMA.[2] Additional details were disclosed at a press conference at the Red Bull Ring on 6 February 2026.[3] The series was inspired by King of the Baggers, an American-based championship that also has involvement of Indian Motorcycle.[4] It was jointly developed by Harley-Davidson and MotoGP.[3]
The first season was held alongside six MotoGP weekends in North America and the United States, with the inaugural round on 27–29 March at Circuit of the Americas.[3] Archie McDonald won the first race, a seven-lap event.[5]
