Ashley Creek (Current River tributary)

Ashley Creek is a stream in Dent and Texas counties in the Ozarks of southern Missouri.[1] It is a tributary to the Current River.

The creek is formed by the joining of North Ashley Creek and South Ashley Creek.[2][3] The junction of the two tributaries is at 37°25′51″N 91°41′05″W / 37.43083°N 91.68472°W / 37.43083; -91.68472 and the confluence with the Current River is at 37°25′41″N 91°38′59″W / 37.42806°N 91.64972°W / 37.42806; -91.64972.[1]

The stream system has the name of William Henry Ashley, a frontiersman.[4]
