Archang (Persian: ارچنگ)[3] was a village in, and the capital of, Shandiz Rural District of Torqabeh District, Mashhad County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,830 in 523 households.[2]

After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Binalud County,[a] and the rural district was transferred to the new Shandiz District.[6] Archang did not appear in the censuses of 2011[7] and 2016.[8]
