Ameer Abulola (1592–1651)[ 1] also known as Syedna Ameer Abul Ula Naqshbandi Ahrari was an Indian Sufi saint Naqshbandi order .[ 2] He is the founder of Abulolai branch of Naqshbandi order.[ 3] [ 4] [ 5] He had served as the Administrator of Burdwan , Bengal during the reign of Akbar .[ 6] He was a descendant of Khwaja Obaidullah Ahrar.[ 7] [ 8]
Biography
Abulola was born at Narela , Delhi in 1592 to Ameer Abul Wafa and Begum Bibi Aarifa. He was a descendant of Imam Zainul Abedeen from father side and Abu Bakr Siddique from mother side.[ 9]
He used Insaan as his Takhallus .[ 9]
His maternal grandfather Khwaja Faizi was Administrator of Burdwan, Bengal and the predecessor of Abulola as the Administrator.[ 10]
