Local elections will be held in the Province of Pangasinan on May 12, 2025 as part of the 2025 general election. Voters selected candidates for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the vice-governor, governor and representatives for the six districts of Pangasinan.
Background
Incumbent Pangasinan Governor Ramon Guico III and former governor Amado Espino III will again face each other in next year’s gubernatorial race in the province.
Espino, who filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Saturday, will run with former Dasol, Pangasinan Mayor Noel Nacar as his vice governor.[1] Governor Ramon V. Guico III, along with his running mate, Vice Governor Mark Ronald DG. Lambino, filed their certificates of candidacy at the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) provincial office in Dagupan City on October 2.
Gov. Guico and Vice Gov. Lambino were joined by 5th District Congressman Ramon “Monching” Guico Jr., some members of the Aguila team, and their wives—Pangasinan First Lady Maan Tuazon-Guico and Atty. Melanie Lambino.[2]
Former congresswoman Gina de Venecia, wife of former House Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr., is seeking a fresh mandate as the fourth district representative of Pangasinan and successor of her son.
Incumbent Pangasinan 4th District Rep. Christopher de Venecia filed her mother’s certificate of candidacy at the Commission on Election office.[4]

Two prominent businesswomen are set to compete for this city’s mayoral seat in next year’s elections as incumbent Mayor Belen Fernandez is being challenged by Councilor Celia Lim, who officially filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) on Monday, Oct. 7.
Lim, running under the Nacionalista Party, was joined by her son, former Mayor Brian Lim, who is her vice mayoral candidate, along with their full slate of councilors.[5]
Liseldo Calugay, the Pangasinan municipal mayor who was summoned to the House of Representatives and Senate over allegations of having business ties with Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo has filed his certificate of candidacy for re-election.

Patrick Caramat officially filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for mayor of Calasiao, Pangasinan, following in the footsteps of his late mother, former Mayor Mamilyn Caramat. [8] Patrick Caramat runs for election unopposed.
Incumbent Mayor Bonafe De Vera-Parayno, Vice Mayor Dr. Mark Stephen Mejia, and former Mayor Marilyn Lambino will be against each other for the position in the 2025 Mangaldan Mayoralty Election. Marilyn Lambino filed her COC earlier on October 5, seeking to reclaim her position.[9]
